Dr. Salisha Mohammed, MD

Dr. Salisha Mohammed is a board-certified pediatrician dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for infants, children, and adolescents. Originally from Queens, New York, Dr. Mohammed earned her bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Sociology from CUNY Queens College. She went on to complete a Master of Science in Medical Sciences at the University of South Florida before earning her Doctor of Medicine degree from St. George's University.

Dr. Mohammed completed her Pediatric Residency at BronxCare Health System in Bronx, New York, where she received comprehensive training in the care and treatment of children across all stages of development. Prior to joining Nuvia Medical in October 2026, she practiced as both a Pediatrician and Pediatric Urgent Care Physician in the Orlando and Kissimmee communities.

Dr. Mohammed's professional interests include preventive medicine, adolescent health, and childhood obesity management. She is passionate about partnering with families to promote healthy lifestyles and help children thrive physically, emotionally, and academically.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Mohammed is an avid New York Knicks fan. When she is not caring for patients, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and watching anime.
